Fenland Films

Both of our short films were created in our home district of Fenland, collaborating with Fens-bred filmmaker Dan Canham and other local organisations.

Rolling in the Fens

A journey through time on wheels; in this film we meet people of the Fens who share rollerskating as a fond past-time, as well as memories of rolling and dancing in Wisbech’s now derelict Corn Exchange building. We explore the enduring sprit of a sport that has stood the test of time and transcends generations.

Featuring interviews and contributions from Fenland locals aging between 18 and 94 years of age.

Rhythm of the Fen

Climate anxiety among younger generations is growing, yet at the same time, we are becoming increasingly disconnected from nature. The very generations left to endure the consequences of environmental exploitation are asking what they can do. The Great Fen’s Peatland Progress project is making strides in addressing this issue within Fenland’s agricultural landscape, offering young people a direct connection to nature and empowering them to drive change.

This film invites the viewer into the visceral experience of the young people who hold the weight of climate change on their shoulders, journeying through the site that holds a hope for the future.

Current Projects

Inspiring and entertaining for all ages, our work is created with intention of educating and provoking thought and discussion about global issues.
